How to install the Safari extension
  1. Download Immersive Reading from the App Store
  2. Open the app and complete your subscription
  3. Open Safari and go to Settings (tap the AA button in the address bar)
  4. Tap "Manage Extensions"
  5. Enable "Immersive Reading"
  6. Grant necessary permissions when prompted
How to use Immersive Reading on a webpage
  1. Navigate to any webpage in Safari
  2. Tap the share button (square with arrow pointing up)
  3. Scroll down and select "Immersive Reading"
  4. The reading tools interface will appear
  5. Choose your preferred settings (text size, voice, etc.)
  6. Tap play to start text-to-speech
How to customize reading settings

Text Size: Use the text size controls to increase or decrease font size

Text Spacing: Adjust line and word spacing for better readability

How to manage your subscription
  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Tap "Subscriptions"
  4. Select "Immersive Reading"
  5. From here you can cancel, modify, or view renewal date

Or tap "Manage Subscription" in the Immersive Reading app.

Troubleshooting: Extension not appearing

Check if extension is enabled:

  • Open Safari Settings → Manage Extensions
  • Ensure Immersive Reading is toggled ON

Verify subscription status:

  • Open the Immersive Reading app
  • Check that your subscription is active
  • Try "Restore Purchases" if needed

Restart Safari:

  • Close Safari completely
  • Reopen and try again

How do I cancel my subscription?

On iPhone/iPad:

  1. Open Settings app
  2. Tap your name → Subscriptions
  3. Select Immersive Reading
  4. Tap "Cancel Subscription"

Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. Cancellation takes effect at renewal date.

By downloading and using Immersive Reading for Safari, you agree to these terms:

1. Subscription Terms

  • Subscription required to access features
  • Yearly subscription with automatic renewal
  • Payment charged to iTunes Account at purchase confirmation
  • Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
  • Current subscription price displayed in the app

2. Cancellation & Refunds

  • Cancel anytime through App Store account settings
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of current billing period
  • No refunds for partial subscription periods
  • Access continues until end of paid period after cancellation

3. Service Availability

  • Service provided "as is" without warranties
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features

When Your Credit Appears

After your payment is confirmed, your credit will be posted within 12 hours. We work hard to ensure everyone's contributions are recognized promptly. If there's a delay, we'll keep you informed.

Handling Chargebacks
